Get personalized one-on-one sessions to explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviors in a safe and confidential environment. Build stronger family relationships, improve communication, and work through difficult times as a team. Work together with your partner to improve communication, resolve conflicts and strengthen your relationship.
Given our expertise, we offer one-on-one consultation to peer therapists, social workers, and other care providers (psychiatrists, school counselors, executive functioning coaches, etc.)
We provide guidance and share our knowledge on the Standards of Care, medical letters of support, disseminating co-occurring disorders, etc.
Many of our clients are transitioning from IOP, PHP, or Wilderness/Residential programs. Therefore, we assist with the transition to the client's home environment and integration into their academic or professional environment. In doing so, collaborating and supporting parents through firm yet positive parenting, congruent communication, goal-setting, accountability, and boundary setting/enforcement are some of the main components of our work together.
We also serve clients in all US States via 'Gender Coaching' in which we address gender transition affecting all aspects of their life including but not limited to: 'coming out' in the workplace, job interviews, navigating medical resources and Letters of Support guidelines, family planning, sexuality and relationships, 'coming out' to their spouse/children, etc.
Small group facilitation to large-scale training/keynote sessions are customized to meet the needs of the client. We specialize in presenting to the following industries: Education (Elementary to High School), medical (hospital residency programs), and private industry (high-tech companies). The focus of the presentations include general LGBTQ+ affirming care, diversity and inclusion, and transgender-specific affirming care.
Sean Garcia is passionate about serving the needs of LGBTQ+ (transgender/gender variant persons), the neurodiverse population, and gifted students who desire unique learning environments and/or require specialized accommodations. Sean is equally passionate about guiding clients and their families on how best to utilize a ‘gap year’ to aid in personal, professional, and academic success. Sean combines his business mindset (spending a decade in high tech global marketing/operations) with his expertise in mental health for neurodivergent and gender diverse patients in higher education. Given his personal and professional experience, he has the knowledge to guide students and their families through the end-to-end process of developing a roadmap in the best interest of the student. Sean is an active member of Independent Educational Consultants Association.
Sean is currently providing services through THRIVE College Counseling Group.
